Yarn (including filament) dyeing has a history of nearly 1,000 years, and hank dyeing has been used for a long time. It was not until 1882 that the world had the first patent for bobbin dyeing, and then beam dyeing appeared.
1: Hank dyeing
The spun yarn or filament is converted into a skein with frames connected together on a spinning machine, and then dyed in various types of dyeing machines is skein dyeing. Because there have been many monographs on Hank dyeing before, this book is in I will not repeat it here.
2: bobbin dyeing
The spun yarn or filament is wound on a bobbin full of holes (the winding density is required to be appropriate and uniform, usually called "loose bobbin"), and then it is sleeved on the dyeing column (also called yarn bamboo, spindle, insert rod Wait). ) Dyeing machine (also called flat plate, hanging plate, creel, etc.) and put it into the cheese dyeing machine. Under the action of the main pump, the dye solution penetrates and circulates between the cheese or fiber to realize the cheese dyeing
3: Warp beam dip
According to the requirements of the color and quantity of the warp yarn of the colored fabric, the original yarn is wound on the perforated loop of the loosening machine to form a loose warp shaft (which can be regarded as a large bobbin), and then the loose warp shaft is installed on the yarn carrier of the dyeing machine , Put it into the warp beam dyeing machine, the dye liquor penetrates through the action of the main pump and circulates between the warp yarns or fibers to achieve dip dyeing, so as to obtain warp yarns with uniform color. This method is called beam dyeing
4: Warp beam pad dyeing
Warp beam pad dyeing is mainly used in the production and processing of colored warp and weft denim. A certain number of dilution shafts are introduced into each dyeing tank. After multiple soaking, multiple rolling and multiple ventilation and oxidation, indigo (or sulfide, reduction, Direct dyeing with paint) dyes. After pre-drying and sizing, the warp yarn with uniform color can be obtained, which can be directly used for weaving. The warp beam pad dyeing tank can be multiple (sheet machine) or one (ring machine). This equipment used in combination with sizing is called a piece dyeing sizing machine.
5: Yarn bundle pad dyeing (ball warp dyeing)
This is also a special dyeing method for denim warp yarn. The dyeing process includes balling 400-500 raw yarns into balls, and then in multiple dyeing tanks, through repeated dipping, winding and air oxidation, several yarns (such as 12, 18, 24 strands and 36 strands) split sizing to achieve indigo dyeing. Acrylic tow can also be pad dyed
6: Special dyeing method of yarn
Similar to fabrics, yarns also have partial dyeing, such as knuckle dyeing, segment dyeing, tie dyeing, printing, electric discharge dyeing, gradation and so on.
1. Printing Department
According to the design requirements, every set distance, a color (such as 0.5 ~ 1 cm) can be printed on the arranged hank, which can be the same color, but most of them are five colors. The spacing must be irregular and not equidistant, otherwise "turtle back" or "landscape painting" will appear on the surface of the cloth.
2. Segmented dyeing
Drop a variety of dyes on different parts of the scattered hank at the same time, and then fix the color and clean the hank after vacuum suction or padding. Compared with the printed part, the color segment is longer, the white yarn spacing is smaller, and even the same. The two adjacent colors will also appear "color matching" on the yarn. Segmented dyed yarn is widely used in knitted fabrics
3. Tie-dye
Tie up the part of the skein with a rope (or plastic film), and then dip it. As a result, the fastened part is blank, the fastened part has some bleeding from dark to light, and the unfastened part has a uniform color, and the product has a unique flavor.
4. Printing (warp yarn)
This method is usually used to produce warp knitted fabrics and print patterns on warp yarns (not weft yarns). The product style is hazy and looks like flowers instead of flowers. When printing warp yarns, it can be false weaving (knitting method is printing first and then warping, weaving method is warping-false weaving-printing), or it can be printed directly on the warp, for example, synthetic fiber warp can be printed on a transfer printing machine .
5. Gradient dyeing (color silk)
The twisted yarn (silk) of different parts is immersed in the dye solution at different times, so that each frame yarn presents a gradual color from light to dark without obvious boundaries, such as traditional Chinese embroidery seven-color silk thread. In addition, there are half dyeing, spray dyeing, single yarn continuous dip dyeing, etc.
